Our story

Hi, I’m Delaney, the heart behind The Small Folk Co. I was born in India and adopted, so family has always been at the center of who I am. I first started this shop years ago under the name Teddy Sweet when I was a new mom, searching for something meaningful to pour my energy into. I didn’t quite know what I was doing then, but this time, I’m starting fresh—with clearer purpose and a full heart. Today, I’m a mom to two sweet little ones: Vera, my newborn, and Theo, who’s almost four. My husband, Troy, and I are raising them with lots of love, laughter, and faith. I love my friends, quiet moments spent reading, and most of all, I love Jesus, who continues to guide me through motherhood and life.

My reason why

My heart for The Small Folk Co comes from my love for children and family. As a mom to Theo and Vera, I’ve seen how quickly these little years pass, and I wanted to create something that celebrates the beauty of childhood while it’s here. This shop is my way of blending faith, creativity, and love into pieces that feel cozy, timeless, and full of joy. It’s more than clothing—it’s a reminder to cherish the small folk in our lives.
